(NC) Chances are many of us are rethinking our traditional holiday plans and activities. But even if you are physical distancing from friends and family, there is no need to self-isolate your holiday spirit. With a little creativity, goodwill and Wi-Fi, you can stay connected with these tips:

TikTok caroling

While the idea of going door to-door caroling now sounds like a non-starter, that doesn’t mean friends outside your bubble wouldn’t appreciate some impromptu cheer. Why not try creating caroling videos for TikTok? Use fun apps to add accompanying music, or features like Voice Bokeh on the LG Velvet 5G, to amplify your recorded singing over background noise for a crystal-clear performance.

Picture in picture movie marathon

Love holiday classics? You can keep your distance and still watch the movie together with a little ingenuity. Simply cast a video call from your mobile device to the top right corner of an LG OLED TV to binge your favourites with friends while staying at home. You can even mute them if they get a little too chatty during the movie.

Mobile game night

Game night with friends can be fun no matter where you are. Use your laptop, smart TV or mobile phone to connect virtually and play old-school classics like Catan and Clue, or newer free party game apps like House Party. You can invite people from separate households and even time zones to join in on the fun, helping you all feel connected and engaged.
